Bali News- Serbian Greyhound Ivanovic beats Moscow Pit Bull Kleybanova in Bali final

Editors Note:
One of the great attractions of Bali is the annual women’s professional tennis tournament which has featured many of the top seeded WTA tennis pros in the last ten years.

This year the event was held in the upscale air-condoned indoor court of the Westin Hotel in Nusa Dua all this week.

Tennis fans were not disappointed at yesterdays finals as two of the world’s best women’s players battled it out in a 6- 4 followed by a very tight tie breaker sets.

The winner, a Serbian 24 year old beauty who at one time was the world s number one player displayed excellent was shot choice with numerous aces to take the tight match from a ferocious Moscow pit bull who hit at 200 KPH.

I believe Ana will go on to take many more grand slams in the future and perhaps may even return to number 1 seed in the next few years.
Having earned over $8,000,000 at her early age plus endorsements along with her model quality looks and great physique she provides a vision of tennis royalty.

After attending the Wimbledon women’s and men’s finals earlier this year I can tell you that yesterdays finals in Bali were even more exciting with better rallies and more drama.

Congratulations to Commonwealth Bank for bringing this prestigious event to Bali. Just another reason why Bali is the best island in the world.

Ivanovic will return to the world's top 20 on Monday

Ana Ivanovic continued her recent resurgence by beating Alisa Kleybanova to win the Commonwealth Bank Tournament of Champions in Bali.

Ivanovic, the former world number one from Serbia, beat her Russian opponent 6-2 7-6 (7-5) to land her tenth title.

Ivanovic ended a two-year run without a title in Austria three weeks ago.

"It's great to win another title, I'm thrilled and it's a big step for me," the 23-year-old said. "It's a good way to go into next season."

The victory ensured Ivanovic, who slipped to 65th in the rankings in July, will return to the top 20 on Monday.

"The second set came down to mental strength and just believing in myself," she added. "I managed to stay calm so I was happy to close out the match."
