The Kuta Karnival was first organized after the bombing tragedy in Bali, Indonesia back in October 2002.
It was part of an effort to rebuild Bali’s reputation.

"We would like to invite everyone to participate in this activity so that the world knows that Bali has a commitment to tourism development."
This year’s theme is "Heal the World."
Activities will be held along the beaches of Kuta and Legian.
Organizers hope the event will become something the people of Bali have a lot of pride towards, bringing together people from different backgrounds and social classes, making the event a success.
This year’s events will begin on September 29th and runs until October 3rd.
