Convicted drug smuggler Scott Rush failed to make a scheduled court appearance in Denpasar, Bali, today after a mix-up caused his hearing to be delayed.
Rush, a member of the so-called Bali nine drug smuggling ring, had been expected to plead his case personally to a panel of three judges as he seeks to overturn his death sentence.
In the so-called judicial review, Rush has asked for the death sentence to be commuted to a 15-year custodial term.
